Job Description A well-established and growing agricultural operation is seeking a
Bilingual (Spanish-English) Farm Manager to oversee daily farming activities across both
row crops and vegetable production . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on farming experience, and working knowledge of both
conventional and organic practices . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing people, crops, and processes to achieve operational success.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of crop production including planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvest for both row crops and vegetables.
- Lead and train a diverse workforce, providing clear direction and communication in Spanish and English .
- Plan and implement fertility, irrigation, and crop rotation programs for optimal yield and soil health.
- Ensure compliance with organic certification and conventional production standards .
- Coordinate with agronomists, suppliers, and operators to manage inputs and schedules.
- Manage equipment use, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Track budgets, input inventory, and production data to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of farm management experience in row crops and/or vegetable production.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
- Understanding of organic certification requirements and conventional agricultural methods.
- Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across diverse workforces.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with irrigation systems and farm equipment .
- Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in fast-paced conditions.
- CDL or pesticide applicator license preferred.
