About The Role

The Alumni and Community Engagement Coordinator provides key administrative support to the PSU Foundation's alumni & community engagement efforts. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day processes, alumni and community events, and supporting internal and external logistics.

This position regularly collaborates with Foundation staff across departments and serves as a key partner to development colleagues, university unit partners, and internal stakeholders to advance the Foundations fundraising efforts.

Position Overview

  • Provides key administrative support for the Alumni and Community Engagement team as needed for team-wide activities, including agenda support for team meetings and retreats.
  • Provides administrative support for alumni events, affinity programming, workplace engagement, and donor stewardship and retention. Including event execution, support for stewardship and donor retention projects.
  • Supports AVP, Alumni and Community Engagement through calendaring and other administrative support.
  • Manages swag ordering, organization, and inventory.
  • Manages alumni inbox, giving inbox, and responds or delivers to appropriate contact.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant administrative experience, including alumni work, event logistics and vendor interaction.
  • Proficiency with commonly used workplace technologies, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM platforms, and other cloud-based collaboration or document management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to an inclusive, equitable, and respectful workplace by working collaboratively with people from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • Experience working in higher education or non-profit organization.
  • Experience in fundraising, communications, or alumni relations in higher education or non-profit.
  • Working knowledge of Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud CRM or other donor databases.

The hiring range for this position is $21.20 - $24.00/hour.
