Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. THIS IS FIRST SHIFT (7AM-3:30PM). The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products and components according to blueprints, work instructions, or schematics while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role plays a key part in the production process and contributes to the timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome; bilingual preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

Inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Follow directions and daily schedules supplied by the Production Floor Supervisor.
  2. Read and understand schematics and parts lists for building signs.
  3. Assemble non-soldered cable assemblies.
  4. Assist in pulling kits for all assemblies on the production floor.
  5. Assist in packing all assemblies as needed, per direction of the Production Floor Supervisor.
  6. Test signs and non-soldered cables.
  7. Assist in software testing of assemblies as directed by the Quality Manager.
  8. Operate hand, power, and crimp tools.
  9. Build and locate drawings of parts lists.
  10. Properly fill out build documentation as required.
  11. Read and interpret prints for all assemblies.
  12. Accurately apply parts lists to relevant assemblies.
  13. Build various assemblies including: DD signs, OL signs, L0 signs, Eric++ Controllers, and Non-solder Cable assemblies.
  14. Visually inspect all assemblies for quality issues or other problems.
  15. Adhere to safety regulations and ensure ESD precautions are observed.
  16. Keep work areas clean, safe, and hazard-free.
  17. Report any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices to management immediately.
  18. Perform other related duties as assigned.
