We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and organized, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service hours.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and reporting shortages as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, taking feedback positively to improve offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance pastry offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling practices, and kitchen safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for baking and presentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
