Assistant Property Manager (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Madison, WI

Pay: $22–$24/hour (based on experience)

We’re looking for a sharp, dependable, and motivated individual to join a well-established property management team in Madison, WI as a temp-to-hire Assistant Property Manager . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and building their professional skillset in a stable and supportive environment. You’ll receive hands-on training and work closely with an experienced team to support daily operations and deliver great service to residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with daily operations at the property, supporting both residents and staff
• Learn how to handle rent collection and follow-up procedures
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors
• Help with leasing support: giving tours, preparing paperwork, and processing applications
• Organize tenant records and help ensure compliance with housing policies
• Support move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and general office tasks
• Build relationships with residents and contribute to a positive community environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional attitude when working with residents and team members
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Reliable transportation to and from the property
• High school diploma or equivalent required
