Job Title: Part-Time Barista

Location: Jersey Bagels, 9522 Huffmeister rd, suite 500 Houston, TX

About Us: Jersey Bagels is a growing bagel shop in NW Houston, TX, Known for our east coast style bagels and warm family atmosphere. We pride ourselves on serving high-quality products and providing exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team!

Position: We are seeking a motivated and friendly Part-Time Barista to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Barista Duties:
  
  
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Operate coffee machines and equipment, following proper procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee station.
• Sandwhich Prep:
  
  
  • Wrap sandwiches and hand out orders.
  • Assemble cream cheese and deli sandwiches. 
• Customer Service:
  
  
  • Take and process customer orders with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Additional Tasks:
  
  
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning.
  • Support team members with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn and take on various responsibilities, including bagel preparation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
