About the Role
The Company is in need of a strategic and experienced CFO to take the lead in its finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on financial leader with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team leadership. Key responsibilities for the CFO include directing and overseeing all financial functions, leading the close process to ensure accurate and timely reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business performance and growth. The role also involves managing the annual budget, cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities, as well as overseeing a high-performing accounting and finance team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master’s or MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing accounting teams, a strong knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency in financial systems and tools, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is the capacity to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. The CFO will also be expected to have high integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
