About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer to play a pivotal role in the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the business's overall plan and strategic direction. The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. This leadership position demands a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The Chief People Officer will also be responsible for bridging management and employee relations, managing the recruitment and selection process, and ensuring a positive working environment. Applicants for the Chief People Officer role at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. Professional HR certifications are required, along with a minimum of 5 years in a VP of HR or CHRO role and over 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience. Experience in a food manufacturing environment and a proven track record in developing and turning around HR functions are essential. The role also requires expertise in strategic planning, HR management, leadership, organizational development, and various HR-related areas. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact effectively with the executive management team and the Board of Directors.
