Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician to join our team, with the opportunity for a part-time or full-time position, depending on the skill set of the candidate. Seeking entry-level to advanced skill candidates. This role requires problem-solving skills, basic construction and repair activities, the ability to perform physical labor in various outdoor environments, and travel in the Midwest. The Tech will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has experience with crack filling, pothole repair, and other pavement repair and building maintenance skills or is willing to learn.

Duties

• Observe property conditions and note items in need of repair.
• Minor parking lot or sidewalk repair work, asphalt crack filling, and repair.
• Perform minor property repairs and portering while at properties.
• Travel to company-owned properties-- requires a valid driver's license.
• Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
• Follow instructions from supervisors regarding daily tasks and project requirements.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized at all times.
• Other repair/construction skills are a bonus-- including experience with asphalt seal coating.
• Represent the facilities department on site positively-- position requires a background check.
