Position Overview: As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. Your expertise will help continue to provide exceptional service and value to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and project management.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for roofing projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
- Prepare and present proposals and cost estimates to clients.
- Ensure estimates align with company standards and project requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a commercial roofing estimator.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction processes.(GAF & Carlisle)
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.(EDGE software)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
