Job Description | Community Engagement Manager
About Carelinks ABA At Carelinks ABA, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive - and every family deserves a partner who will walk alongside them on that journey.
We provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy for children with autism and related developmental needs, meeting them where they feel safest and most supported. Our approach is
naturalistic and play-based, helping children develop skills in a way that feels fun, engaging, and meaningful.
We know raising a child with autism comes with unique challenges and we’re here not only to support the child but to empower the entire family. That’s why we partner closely with parents, caregivers, and local communities, offering guidance, resources, and hope along the way.
As we expand in Iowa, Missouri, and New Mexico, we’re focused on bringing our services to new markets and communities where families have historically had limited access to high-quality ABA therapy. This is where you come in.
About the Role The Community Engagement Manager will be at the front line of Carelinks ABA’s growth - developing new markets, building relationships from the ground up, and making sure families, schools, and providers know we’re here to help.
This is a role for someone who thrives on connection and impact. You’ll create and execute go-to-market plans for new areas, lead community outreach efforts, and act as the bridge between Carelinks ABA and the communities we serve.
It’s part marketing, part relationship-building, part event coordination - and all about helping families discover the life-changing support ABA therapy can offer.

- Represent Carelinks at community events, resource fairs, and family-friendly gatherings.
- Develop marketing materials and resources (flyers, brochures, swag) including light design in Canva.
Provider & Referral Source Engagement - Build referral networks with pediatricians, therapists, and school counselors.
- Share educational resources and host informational sessions for providers.
- Maintain updated outreach lists and track engagement efforts.
Direct Family Engagement - Host open houses, workshops, and parent education events in new and existing markets.
- Participate in autism support groups and local parenting networks.
- Manage targeted outreach campaigns via digital channels, direct mail, and events.
Media & Digital Promotion - Collaborate with leadership to secure local press and media coverage.
- Connect with parent influencers, bloggers, and community leaders.
- Share updates on Carelinks’ social media channels to highlight our work in new areas.
Internal Collaboration - Work closely with clinical and operations teams to align outreach with service availability.
- Provide feedback from the community to help shape Carelinks’ market expansion strategy.
Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in marketing, outreach, community relations, or business development.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident in representing Carelinks ABA at events and in meetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva; strong design sense is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or nonprofit outreach.
Additional Information - Preferred Location: Iowa, Missouri, or New Mexico.
- Travel: 2–4 trips per month (varies by season).
- Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, with occasional evenings/weekends.
- Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for event setup.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Benefits - Salary: $70,000–$90,000 depending on experience.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid holidays and generous PTO.
- 401(k) with company match.
- Professional growth and development opportunities.
If you’re ready to be the driving force behind Carelinks ABA’s growth in new communities building awareness, forming partnerships, and ensuring families know they have a trusted partner in their child’s journey, we’d love to hear from you.
