Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Floater  to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age. 
2. Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. 
3. Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
4. Strong understanding of child development
5. Patient, kind, and nurturing
6. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
7. First aid/CPR certified

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide morning breaks and help the cook prepare and serve lunches.
2. Substitute in classes as needed and/or directed by the Director.
3. Help with and ensure that all laundry, dishes, and cleaning duties are done properly and completed daily.
4. Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
5. Design a daily and weekly schedule
6. Provide basic care and caregiving activities
7. Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
8. Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
