A Direct Support Professional, DSP, supports individuals with developmental and physical disabilities to live a quality life. To promote health, safety, and well being of individuals. A Direct Support Professional serves as an advocate for individuals in communicating their needs and achieve their goals. We are currently looking for qualified to work in the Columbus area. We will train, prepare, and support you to succeed!

Great people skills! Organizational skills, time management skills, good written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking skills, critical thinking, active listening, reading comprehension, teamwork, interpretation, problem solving, teaching, innovating and strategizing. You may need to lift and support individuals with hygiene needs. This job includes meal preparation and very light housekeeping. High school diploma or equivalent. Drivers license, updated vehicle insurance and registration. CPR certification (we offer certification if you do not have it). Negative TB test within 60 days of hire.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Medical license/certification: CPR Certification
• Medical license/certification: First Aid Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Valid auto liability insurance
• Background check

Preferred qualifications:

• Own a personal vehicle
• Has (or willing to open) a checking account for direct deposit
