We are immediately hiring for an Entry-Level Microbiology Lab Technician! This role will perform microbiological laboratory testing on food products. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in a scientific field (such as Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Science, etc.).

Job Description

This role involves hands-on work in a laboratory setting, focusing on media preparation, equipment maintenance, and sample testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in microbiology and laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media for laboratory tasks.
• Perform audits and preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Sterilize lab equipment and glassware using autoclaves.
• Test environmental samples, including swab and water samples.
• Conduct testing on powder, liquid, and raw ingredient samples.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related Science field (can be an entry-level grad).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
