An ideal coaching candidate for JUHSD and its respective school possesses the following: Expertise in the rules, strategies, techniques, sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety of their respective sport. The ability to motivate student athletes to maximize their athletic talent. Assist in preparing student athletes for competition. Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling athletic events and practices, transportation, maintaining supplies and equipment, and assisting in maintenance of school facilities. Help student athletes maintain and meet eligibility requirements to participate in high school athletic events. Good communication and supervisory skills.
