Overview
We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our team in a fiber underground construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating a drill. As a Driller, you will be responsible for executing drilling operations safely and efficiently while collaborating with other team members on construction sites.

We are a growing company with both new projects and crews, so there will be opportunities to grow

Our projects are mainly in the Greater Tampa Bay area, mostly in Spring Hill at the moment.

Duties

• Operate horizontal drilling machines to complete assigned projects.
• Constant communication with Locator and Foreman.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on drilling machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Read blueprints.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate drilling activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Help crew when needed to expose utilities and do other tasks.
• Help crew set up and take down cones, signs, etc.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Go through drill path with Forman and locator.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment operation drills.
• Previous construction site experience is required.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Must be physically fit to perform above mentioned tasks
• Must be able to lift heavy

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 50 per week
