Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience as paraprofessionals who are passionate about supporting elementary education. The position is based in Northbrook, IL, within an elementary school setting, and offers a contract for the duration of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to teachers in the classroom to enhance student learning
• Assist with small group and one-on-one instruction tailored to student needs
• Support students with special needs, adapting materials and strategies as required
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement lesson plans and school activities
• Monitor and record student progress, communicating observations as appropriate

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
