Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Paraprofessional to support K-12 students in an educational setting in Scranton, PA. This contract position for the current school year (CSY) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences by providing support under the guidance of licensed teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and lesson implementation
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs
• Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Support students with classroom transitions and routines
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom organization
• Monitor and encourage appropriate student behavior

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in educational environments or with children, preferably in K-12 settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward student learning
• Basic understanding of classroom technology and instructional tools is a plus
