Investment Banking Associate - Real Estate Group

Position :

Our client is a boutique investment bank and advisory firm offering a wide range of services in investment banking, securities, investment management, and other financial services primarily focused on real estate and infrastructure.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and a deep understanding of the real estate market. This role involves working closely with senior bankers to provide innovative financial solutions to clients in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth industry research and analysis to identify market trends and investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
• Develop complex financial models for transaction execution including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising activities.
• Prepare and present pitch books and other client materials.
• Perform valuation analysis using various methodologies such as DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to manage deal processes and coordinate with clients, lawyers, accountants, and other advisors.
• Assist in the due diligence process and analyze financial and operational data of target companies.
• Stay abreast of developments in the real estate sector and understand regulatory, legal, and economic factors affecting the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related financial services with a focus on real estate.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated interest and expertise in the real estate sector.
