FAR Inspections seeks a Mortgage Field Services Inspector to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Independent contractors earn a predictable full?time or supplemental income with a flexible schedule. Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required, but the ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and drive extensively is essential.
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, varying by county and volume. Earnings can range from $30$40 per hour, based on the number and type of inspections. Work is consistent month?to?month, with the possibility to earn more by covering larger territories or taking on higher volume counties. No additional mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection.
