FAR Inspections is seeking motivated individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders.
Independent contractors enjoy predictable full?time or supplemental income with a flexible schedule. Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required; strong time?management and deadline?meeting skills are essential.
Location: Reno, NV (county?level assignments). Inspectors may cover their county alone or split with another inspector if volume supports dual coverage.
Mortgage lenders request periodic updates on their properties. Inspections primarily verify property occupancy, assess general condition via a mobile application, and may require interior photos when a property has become vacant.
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. Typical earnings are equivalent to $30$40 per hour.
Depending on the county (urban or rural), you may complete 20500 inspections per month, working 230 hours per week. Lower?volume counties offer higher rates; higher?volume counties offer lower rates. Work is consistent month to month.
Earn more as you establish a reputation, increase availability, or cover a larger territory.
No mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection.
