Base pay range $38.00/hr - $45.00/hr Direct message the job poster from The Planet Group Senior Creative Recruiter at The Planet Group The Planet Group is seeking a Motion Graphic Designer to join our well-known advertising client on a 3-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position and will work a hybrid schedule out of their Sunnyvale, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interactive space, and its production requirements. Motion Graphic Designer Responsibilities: Work closely with Motion Graphic Production Leads, Interactive Developers and Design, Video and Software teams to meet the client’s quality standards for video and animation deliverables Handle production and post-production of animations using internal proprietary processes and tools as well as industry standard methods and tools Find production solutions through testing and research Review final deliverables with an exacting eye Track and check-in visual assets using a version control system Ensure project deadlines are met and with accurate file handoffs for localization Support training of newer team members Motion Graphic Designer Qualifications : 2+ years experience with Adobe After Effects After Effects compositing and animation experience, with scripting and expressions a plus Photoshop knowledge and expertise, including but not limited to smart objects, resolution, and file export options Illustrator knowledge and expertise pertaining to vector based animations Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge Maya to After Effects workflow understanding or experience a plus Good understanding of basic 3D principles & pipeline Render farm setup and usage experience also a plus Highly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills Establishes rapport and collaborates easily Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and check in process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement Problem solver with experience troubleshooting technical challenges Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Design Industries Advertising Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Planet Group by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Motion Graphic Designer” roles.
