Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certificate for K-12
• Active MD drivers license
• Experience working with students, particularly in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized mobility plans

Location:

• Nottingham, MD

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students orientation and mobility needs
• Develop and implement individualized mobility training programs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various environments
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate mobility goals into the classroom
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and program effectiveness
• Facilitate community outings to enhance real-world navigation skills
