Oliver Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our growing manufacturing team in Twinsburg, OH. In this key role, you'll be responsible for forecasting, planning, and coordinating the production workflow across our facility to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Production Scheduler, you will:

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands while maximizing equipment and labor utilization.
  • Translate customer orders and demand forecasts into clear production plans using our ERP systems.
  • Monitor workflow and capacity across departments to avoid bottlenecks, shortages, or delays.
  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure all materials, labor, and equipment are aligned to meet production goals.
  • Proactively communicate schedule changes that impact delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with department managers to minimize disruptions.
  • Manage inventory levels by assessing material availability and demand, including communication with third-party vendors or outside service providers.
  • Recommend overtime or alternative plans to meet scheduling targets as needed.

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Production Scheduler if your background includes:

  • 5–8 years of experience in production scheduling or manufacturing operations.
  • Associate's degree required, or technical school degree. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, production control, and planning software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with purchasing and procurement practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
