What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Source new acquisition opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers in vertical market software businesses
  • Nurture and maintain existing relationships with acquisition targets
  • Serve as the senior account manager for Harris’ M&A relationships within your designated area
  • Communicate Harris’ investment strategy professionally and effectively
  • Track activities and maintain relevant information in Salesforce, generating reports on leads and managing investment opportunities through the M&A pipeline
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Fluency in both English and French
  • Minimum of 5 years of related business experience in sales, corporate development, consulting, banking, investing, M&A sourcing, technology/software, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/start-up
  • Strong aptitude and passion for corporate development and relationship management
  • Exceptional people skills along with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • Self-starter with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills who thrives on new challenges
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in technology or software-related industries
  • Background in M&A sourcing or investor relations
  • Proven track record of successful relationship management in a corporate environment
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
