Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistics Data Analyst to join our team. As an OSIR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data that supports Army logistics and sustainment operations. You will analyze data, identify trends, and collaborate with various teams to improve processes and enhance readiness.
Responsibilities:
• Data Management & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data within Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, LMP, etc.). Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends in equipment performance, maintenance costs, inventory levels, and supply chain performance. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate key insights.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teams to identify opportunities to improve data processes and enhance efficiency.
• System Expertise: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Army logistics systems and data structures.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Data Governance: Contribute to the development and enforcement of data standards and policies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics data analysis or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools like Power BI or Tableau).
• Experience with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, LMP) is highly desirable. At least with one system.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP concepts and systems (SAP experience a plus).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
