We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Shipping and Receiving Parts Clerk to join our dynamic team and support our growing parts and service operations.

Position Summary

As a Shipping and Receiving Parts Clerk, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our parts department. This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing and shipping parts orders, managing incoming parts and warranty returns, and supporting inventory control. You will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate parts fulfillment, while upholding the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

· Respond to customer and internal inquiries for replacement parts, accessories, or technical support.

· Accurately receive, document, and store inbound shipments from vendors, the warehouse, or factory.

· Answer parts-related phone calls and assist in identifying correct part requirements.

· Pick, pack, and ship parts from warehouse/factory inventory to the appropriate customer or service destination.

· Process parts returns for credit or replacement, including warranty claims and scrap processing.

· Maintain clean and organized workspaces and documentation related to parts transactions.

· Support the Customer Service Manager in maintaining inventory levels and controlling stock.

· Coordinate the servicing and fulfillment of back-ordered items.

· Assist with order processing for after-sales service, including tracking and documentation.

· Perform various related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

· Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in bus/truck/RV parts handling or similar field.

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Proficiency in basic computer systems and parts inventory software.

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures.

· Forklift operator experience and certification preferred (but not required).

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting required.

Tolerance for working in environments with varying temperatures.
