We are partnering with our El Cerrito, CA consumer products client to recruit a Visual Content Designer for their photo and design production team on a permanent basis. The role involves both print and digital design work, leveraging your photography and photo editing skills. You will serve as a bridge between creative experts, utilizing beautiful photo work alongside innovative design for various channels. This hands-on role requires experience in design, photography, and photo editing, with at least 4 years of relevant experience, a strong portfolio, and industry experience in consumer products or retail, including product photography and catalog work. The position is onsite in the East Bay, with a supportive studio environment and all necessary tools. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 annually, with potential flexibility. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with the creative team on integrated campaigns, focusing on product photography, layout design, and high-volume photo editing. Manage graphic design projects from concept to completion across print and digital media. Lead product photography projects, photo editing, and related tasks. Assist with photoshoot setup, ensuring proper lighting and aesthetics. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and communication teams on new design initiatives. Contribute to brand strategy and creative evolution. Required experience: At least 4 years of combined professional design and photography experience. Expertise in product photography and editing. Strong graphic design skills. Experience in consumer products, retail, or similar sectors, with print, digital, and catalog work. Bachelor's degree preferred.
