About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their executive leadership team. The CPO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that is in line with the organization's strategic priorities and enhances overall performance. This includes leading all aspects of talent and culture, such as succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, performance management, and change leadership. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building and aligning a high-performing HR team, ensuring HR is a proactive driver of business results, and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement. Candidates for the CPO position at the company must have a BS/BA degree in HR or a related field, with an MBA or MA/MS preferred, and at least 8-10 years of HR management experience. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in designing and implementing talent strategies, managing change, and driving strategic transformation. Essential skills include executive presence, the ability to influence at all levels, and expertise in leadership development, workforce planning, and performance management. The CPO will also be expected to have a deep knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and regulatory standards, as well as strong organizational and execution skills. Experience with HRIS, workforce analytics, and a background in nonprofit or mission-driven environments are desirable.
