Description:

Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Junior Program Analyst to support a government program with financial and budgetary planning responsibilities. This entry-level, full-time, on-site role supports financial tracking, program execution, and reporting functions in alignment with government standards and timelines.

Requirements:

Duties will include:

  • Assist with tracking government planning, forecasting, budgeting, funding execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Support reporting efforts related to financial benchmarks including commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain presentation materials, spreadsheets, and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
  • Work collaboratively with senior analysts and program staff to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Current SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to award.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least 1 year of experience with government financial and budget cycles;
    • OR a High School diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in government financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, funding execution, and performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and related presentation and graphics development software.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Recent federal grant management experience; Department of Navy or DoD experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Navy ERP or similar DoD accounting systems.
